yes! I'll be there. I'm from Edmonton and I've been following the cardinals since Seattle. I thought their show last night in Edmonton was their best night of this opening run so far. The cardinals were well recieved by the Edmonton crowd. With these new postings on the blog it looks like calgarians are in for an incredible show

I just noticed he changed the post about writing Cobwebs for Leah at somepoint. It now says: in manhattan, when it goes night, which is never a night but an electric deep blue for all the signs and color- the buildings look like cobwebs- like drawings

As for Ryan Adams, his set was not to be missed.

Adams' band The Cardinals, are certainly meant to be the Crazy Horse to his Neil Young with their scrappy folk-rock approach. That ragged glory infused tunes like Off Broadway, Goodnight Rose and This Is It, and the band's approach was largely appreciated.

As for his notoriously ugly demeanour, well, Adams grumbled half-heartedly in between songs for the most part, but he did show a bit of enthusiasm when he dedicated a new number to a special someone for whom he had a message. "I want to suck your face off," he said. "You make me feel like I'm riding on an electric unicorn."
