I am surprised people are venturing to Ottawa for this show, I live here and couldn't justify the price, I am also not a huge oasis fan

oh and btw, I have an extra floor ticket available
Section A, row 36, seat 1 or 4
Looking for face value $60...Let me know by 4pm tomorrow and i can give you my cell # to meet up before the show.
The only downfall? you'd be stuck beside a couple of drunks (once The Cards finish up of course)

Incomplete setlist thanks to egoffin:
Don't have the full set list, but songs played (not in order):
Off Broadway (great live version)
Two (dedicated to "the horrors of math" after a bit of a rambling intto about being a cut from their last album that was not available anywhere)
Come Pick Me Up
When the Stars Go Blue
Cold Roses
The Sun Also Sets
This is It
Easy Plateau (awesome closer, Ryan took a drill to his guitar at the end)
Three new songs ? Including first time played, I am blanking on the title...likely missing some others in there as well.
La Cienega

3 new songs where played... one was called "Magic" never played live before and it was fucking rocking!! sounded Oasis'ish it me.. really heavey rock song.
Ryan sounded really good tonight, great crown banter.. I had a bunch of fucking mongos next to me shouting Strawberry Wine after every song.. I was thinking in my mind... he can't even fucking hear you.

Sounds like a good show - maybe he's putting all his energies into his performances on stage rather than off...

a reivew over on an oasis board:
Ryan Adams: Amazing live, great set list! he played a new song called "magic" sounds fucking rocking.. like an Oasis tune or something. He had a lot of good banter going on aswell. He must have mentioned Oasis about a dozen times during his set... I think he is the ultimate fan boy.
I forgot to mention that some idiot was shouting out "summer of 69" to ryan after songs had finished. Finally Ryan had word with him but it was very cool, he said try and have some respect or something and that try and be nice... because not enough people these days are nice to each other ... ryan must be emo.
ryan adams blew me away, had not given him a chance before but definitely will start lookin back through his albums.
sounds like ryan is winning over lots of people on this tour

Maybe it was a good idea for him to tag along with Oasis after all. Shrewd move Ryan....I'm just out of love with him right now - as man I think he sucks to be honest.

Sucks as a person or as a musician? Cause I think the music has been amazing so far.

Sorry - I didn't make myself clear. Sucks as a person. I think the music so far this tour has been amazing too. I still love all his music.

if I placed every artist under the "do i like him as a person" lens, there would be no good music to listen to. i guess it's better to keep em separate.

I got interested in him because I was so obsessed with the music, and regardless of him and what he does, I don't see that changing (the music obsession). I love him out of gratitude for the music. My interest in him as a creator is stronger than my interest in him as a person-that interest comes and goes. That said, I do find him interesting, and I do like a lot of the poems he's posted, and the videos. And I will certainly buy and read his book. But what he does in his personal life--I've had enough train wrecks in my own life to sympathize with him, but I get bored with endless speculation. (No more bored than anyone reading this has gotten by now). Mostly, I am getting really excited about the record.

You're right Sunny - but generally I find people interesting. I like to try and figure out what makes them what they are.

It is interesting to try and figure out what makes people tick, I just find it's kind of pointless after a while with people I don't know, since it's mostly guesswork. That said, I still think he's pretty adorable and whatever makes him tick I hope it goes on ticking for a long time.

well - women are much more forgiving when it comes to hot men. He's just pushed me a bit far this time.

I do understand, Rose.
See, I've only been attracted to Ryan since he's been off the drugs, though....for some reason, back in the Gold days (when I had first heard of him), I was completely turned off of him because he was so messed up.
Now that I've been following him and his numerous blogs since Easy Tiger, I've grown accustom to his suck hole-ness.
It'll pass. :lol

Those new songs sound really good. A friend of mine was at this show and said Ryan was awesome. Oasis not so much.
