I'm cleaning up my work email inbox (600+ messages!), and I came across these:

love them. When I was in school I used to write some pretty random things on tests when I had no idea of the answer, but I have nothing on these guys. :lol

The child sent me this or similar from school and was full of admiration. The things kids do.

Rofl, incredibly humorous. i got a question on my biology paper about "The Human Genome Project," i had no PHreaking idea what it was about! so i wrote some random crap about annoying scientists and actually got a mark for it.

This reminds me of when I wrote an exam on my birthday last year. At the top of the page I wrote: "Today's my birthday. Bonus points? Ha ha, just kidding. Unless birthday bonus points are a possibility. In that case, I'm not joking." My professor actually gave me a bonus point, wrote happy birthday, and drew a couple balloons next to "happy birthday". That dude was so awesome.

The El Nino assignment looks like papers I used to write with so much filler and drama to take up space.

Selling like gothcakes" is a great line. That kid could have a career in comedy.

I had to stop and catch my breath several times while reading that. Great stuff.
Him getting a 61% on it makes it really unbelievable, though.

Yeah I can't believe a teacher would continue to read it much less grade after the first paragraph.

plus "please see after class" doesn't make sense. see what after class? see in general?

I assumed it was the teacher saying "see me after class" to discuss the essay. I don't understand how he received 61 per cent though, unless the lecturer had a wild sense of humour.

two letters added to that sentance would have made it make sense.
it could be that the essay does answer some of the criteria. i mean, he does get the very basic plot of oedipus in there. maybe that's all the assignment wanted.
