The National - The Virginia EP

Not really an EP since it's 12 songs. A collection of b-sides, demos & live tracks.

I'm going to buy this regardless as it comes with a DVD of the film A Skin, A Night about the making of Boxer, so I'm sure it'll be well worth it but I was wondering if anyone has heard it yet, since there seem to be a fair few National fans here.

It's worth having if you are a super fan. The material is obviously not up to par with their album work.

The film was also a letdown for me. Too artsy and no real direction to it.

Well I am a super fan now so I will be getting it. Also, I kind of like things a bit on the pretentious side so maybe I'll really like the film!
