So, now High Road Touring is saying the August Fillmore date also.

http://www.highroadtouring.com/artists/ryanadams/

Do we believe this rumor a little more now?

Rob

Not until I see a picture of him on stage.

Okay, I'll post it when I get it.

:upyours

I always find it funny that Ryan's tour dates are always found scattered across the net.

Stop ruining my dreams Rob!

I will still wait a little longer before preparing the spare room for all you TBYers that are visiting to make the show.

Usually when it's on that site it is for realz though.

That is why I said something, because if we don't meet before, this would be a really really good reason for you to visit up here.

Oh, don't say that out loud, Rob and hildegoat will only tell you that it is not going to happen. That is what they do, they are like dementors.

It's on the West Coast - I'd say it could well be true.

This was on Hippies are Dead. You've got to agree with the last sentence.

For the first time since 2004, Ryan Adams will be back in San Franciso and playing at The Fillmore. He and The Cardinals will be taking a break from supporting Oasis, and will be playing San Francisco's hallowed venue on Saturday August 23rd. Frankly, we here at H.A.D. are psyched to see Ryan back in one of our favorite rooms in the city. We're hoping that a solid dose of rock n' roll history will perhaps knock him out of the Cardinals comfort zone.

Not unhealthy, just a bit risky :)

robotulism

We got 'em. they are available through Live Nation:

http://www.livenation.com/event/getEvent/eventId/329365

limit 2 per person.

But, yeah, the actual Fillmore Box Office were sold out immediately. After we waited for a fucking half hour hungover as shit, in the cold.

But, there was an upside (not), the random security metal head guy named something like Mordor did show me a good time.

Apparently idiots like me and bot do! We thought it'd be a better idea. Obviously we thought wrong! There were a fair amount of people in line with us, though. You don't pay any fees at all, which is nice...

So glad you guys eventually got tickets!! Yay! That would have totally sucked if you hadn't. Sounds like you had a good night out too... :) I wanna hear about it...wish I would have signed up for a drunk dial! ;) ha.

I tried to buy tix for this show, based on the link on Ryan's official website, but although it lists the show, it wont allow you to buy tix. Doesn't say it's sold out, and reportedly the tix went on sale June 15th! So I guess I'm going to have to go another route to try to buy tix for this show, if it's even a reality.

robotulism
06-30-2008, 02:26 PM
No, man, they sold out as far as I know. Live Nation had tickets, but now they just link you back to Ticketmaster, who sold out the day they went on sale.
The Fillmore is a tiny place. I am not anywhere near surprised that they would have sold out by then.
