Got this along with the Emmylou, I like it, but it is going to take a bit to get use to how slow and laidback it is. I dig it and his songwriting is still top-notch, I just love The Wallflowers because of there sense of urgency, so it may be more a grower.

This too, my store did not have today.

We were so on the same page with our shopping list.

I went in for Emmylou and Jakob. Came out with an old Black Crowes and Neal Casal (both used).

Target again, 9.99 my friend, 9.99. That is where I would go. My store at like 10 copies and I live in a town of about 65,000.

I purchased this last night, I was a bit reluctant at first since I hadn't really liked much of the Wallflowers stuff after Bringing Down The Horse, but it's a very nice(albeit non-Wallflowers sounding) folk record. His vocals and songwriting really carry it.

Also, never purchase something like this and a Raconteurs record at the same time, doesn't fit well played back-to-back.:lol

That is kinda why I bought this, and the Emmylou today and Bad Religion and The Offspring yesterday...Otherwise, I may have exploded.

I saw Jakob last night on Letterman and liked it. I've been a big Wallflowers fan for a while now and saw them at a small venue here on the Red Letter Days tour.

So I am going to go get this today. And Emmylou of course. She is the queen.

"Valley Of The Low Sun" is one of the best songs I have heard in a long long time. He really shows his inner Springsteen on that one. I have been listening to it non-stop.

I stayed up way past my bed time for Jakob last night. I'd say it was definitely worth it. :D

I'll be picking this one up too.

It took her a while to get warmed up. But she was charming by the end of the interview.
And gorgeous!

For sure. She was a bit stiff at the beginning. I thought it was going to be a really awkward interview. But, it came off ok by the end.

I just learned today that I might be going to see him in concert July 3rd. Very excited.
