Kings of Leon have revealed the details of their highly anticipated forthcoming album.

'Only By The Night' - the band's fourth studio album - is due out on September 22.

The Followill clan have been working on the follow-up to 2007's 'Because Of The Times' in Nashville's Blackbird Studios. The band co-produced the album with Angelo Petraglia and Jacquire King.

See this week's issue of NME for an exclusive cover story interview with Kings of Leon.

OH YES! this is awesome news. I love those Followills. They are on of the best bands to see live right now. And all three of thier albums are amazing.

No, I don't, it has it moments, but it doesn't come close to Youth and Young Manhood and Aha Shake Heartbreak.

I agree! but the song that sealed it for me is Fans. Such a great song!

decent album track i think. quite like the sleazy bass sound, but i dunno if id want a whole album of these sorts of songs

I like it - I just love how this band can reinvent themselves without alienating a lot of people, it's a difficult thing to do. They're one of the few bands that give me faith in rock music these days.

Great live band too. I think they take themselves seriously enough without taking the fun away from it.

Heard a secret stream of this. This album is fucking awesome. I like it better than the last one, which I really enjoyed. Can't wait to buy it!

Only a couple more days until this is out. The two record stores I went into yesterday and today were both playing it so I've heard most of it now - sounds really good.

Not gonna lie, I have a very narrow groups of artists that I actually buy entire albums from... So for me personally, this tops my list.

Me too...Someone gave me this otherwise I would never have given it a listen. I've bought another album of theirs now as well..:D

Awesome, I would love to see them if they came a little closer.

I just read about them on wikipedia - they have a pretty cool story.
