Aw, nothing is cuter than a kitten. Are you taking one?

I wish I could, but I wouldn't be able to smuggle it into my halls.

A stray cat had kittens in our back yard once - and so of course we ended up adopting her and them. We gave them away eventually - but I'd gotten so attached to them.

I find it hard not to like a cat, dogs on the otherhand I don't much care for.

Cat are extremely cool critters. Dogs are okay but a little too needy. I don't have a dog at present and don't really miss having one.

Cat's are lazy, I'm a busy man, it's a perfect match.

Now I want a new kitten. :\

Go get one, I don't want to risk sending one of these on a long-haul in case someone gets inspiration for "Kittens on a Plane".
I think the first thing I'm going to do when I get the place of my own is to get a cat...and get my cat from home.

No, I've already got two and my partner barely tolerates them.

You should always try to have two cats - they get lonely on their own. Mine love each other to bits.

My one just lies around alot. I don't think she mixes well either, she used to be scared of this little fluffy white kitten from next door.

They sometimes need some time to get used to socialising - especially if they are used to being on their own. They do get used to each eventually though. ONe of my cats went missing for three days once and my other cat refused to eat the entire time.

I am trying to convince my parents to get another, but they don't like the cat we have anyway, plus they might be moving to Italy next year so it isn't really fair.

Oh and I don't think anything would ever put my cat off eating.

That's what I would have said about my cat too (he's huge) but the poor thing was so upset.

Half you parents luck moving to Italy - its beautiful there.

I already got to go for a couple of days earlier this summer, fuck it was hot. My dad is hopefully setting up a business there, so I am looking for free holidays there.

I'm used to hot weather so ti didn't worry me. I loved it - especially Florence. Their trains at peak hour are a worry though. Almost didn't make it out alive.

Is half your luck an Aussie expression perhaps? Might be.

I've never heard it, so it might well be.

Well when I was there it was so warm that you had to be drinking constantly. Dissapointed I didn't get to see a lot of Rome, my dad wanted to show me off to his business associates (the father I suspect is a mafia Don) for some reason.

Maybe they are grooming you for a high ranking position.

Rome was brilliant - great food, great sights and lots of strutting Italians. I was surprised how small it was though.
