Correct me if I'm wrong but I think it's the first UK gig to feature some Dead tunes on this tour. Franklin's Tower & Stella Blue were in a pretty nifty song-suite followed by some short song which I've never heard before. There was also a news bluesy/rocky song that reminds me of Chuck Berry for some reason. Anyway, i thought it was pretty mellow compared to the other gig ive been to (nottingham). and the 'i see monsters' at the end, coupled with the lighting was MIND-BLOWING. As was the 'shakedown'. ROCK.

I would have paid a considerable sum of money to hear Dear John and Dear Chicago played live tonight. Each of the UK gigs seems so different on this tour.....

Neal played piano on Dear John and Jon played acoustic guitar (which I've never seen either do before). Also Neal's opening set was A LOT more varied. 2 piano songs, a couple acoustic songs and then 1 song with pedal steel. All of Neal's songs featured DJ Reggie on drums of course. :)

I really loved it. The verse sounded a bit Neil Young-esqu (ie. some notes were fucking high) and then the chorus was really nice. COuldn't really hear the lyrics. :(

I love some of the colours on those. And I really like the second pic for some reason. Nice. :)
