what's this all about?
"JohnC has just shed some light on the Paradiso fiasco last night:-
the Paradiso management told Ryan's FOH to be off by 10.45
and this was implemented
then at the end when the beer started getting tossed at the stage they denied it
Ryans crew were furious at them
but a very strange end to a show nonetheless"

Apparently there were empties being thrown on stage, plus a persistant streaker and a couple of tantrums. We have a review here somewhere from Kees....hang on.....
Also, do we have a setlist for this show yet?

From kees posted after the show -
Wow. wtf is going on?! Just got home from Paradiso. No, I did not get drunk, but I'm trying now..... Yes there was sort of a streaker, well he still had his undies on, Superman undies they were. He was moved of the stage pretty quickly though, in good spritits as far as I could see. Later he came back, and this time it wasn't nice at all. What happened? I wish I could tell you exactly. Cards came on around 9.15, and played great. Man, I had the trears in my eyes. For starters: A Kiss, Please do not let me go, Super extened version of Magnolia Mountain. Man, they were on fire... The End, Let it Ride, super jam version of Cold Roses, Blue Hotel, Goodnight Rose, Tears of Gold, To Be Young (stomping version), Beuatiful Sorta, Shakedown, Stella Blue, man we were even blessed with a version of September with Bartering Lines intro. Sound didn't seem right all the time, but the band seemed to be in good spirits. Neals support act was great and kindly received. Ms. Joffe was present and seemed to be enjoying herself................
And then, all of a sudden, everything changed. First Brad, Ryan and Chris seemed to be talking about which songs to play next. Neal joined in, Jon came to the drumkit as well........then Ryan left the stage........Neal said something, ending with "it's cool"...................then the lights came on, the house music too........ then some drunk and/or stoned people started throwing the plastic beer cups to the stage, where the roadies were busy, and then the streaker came on again.
OOOOOOOOHHHHHH SHIT!!!!!

Fair summary that, Sydneyfan! For an hour and a half this was probably the best RA gig I have seen. I'd rather have that memory than that of the guy in his underpants being dragged off stage by security under a hail of beer and plastic glasses.
Btw - what a city -I'd like to thank all the kind passers by, the police, ambulance crew and hospital staff for helping me out after I fell over in the afternoon and landed on my chin. I kid you - not they glued it back on! Think I might still have concussion...

Youch, hope you're feeling a little better now.
What triggered all the glass throwing - was it the streaker? Because over here we'd most likely give him a cheer, not throw stuff at him.

That's sexed up poo. :(
Ryan's really in a not-so-good stride at the moment. I hope it doesn't mark the demise of the Cardinals. :-/

The glass throwing was triggered by the rather abrupt finish aminly. The roadies were the initial targets, then the security types. It looked like it was going to get ugly but didn't.
Feeling much better now thanks.
Oh and the She Turns It up to 10 song was really great.

Ah, okay that makes more sense. Cheers.
