I loved Youth And Young Manhood and Aha Shake Heartbreak and while this album is different for them I love it just as much. When I went to buy it the dude at the store asked me if I had heard any of it yet and I said no. He suggested that I listen to some samples because "its different and not very good". I suggested he kiss my ass and let me be the judge. I feel sorry for anyone that let's some douche at Best Buy determine their musical fate for them. I put great trust in the artists I choose to listen to that they're going make good music. And Because Of The Times is no exception. The Kings Of Leon have really upped the ante with this album and shown the world that they not just the "Southern Strokes". IMO every one of their albums blow the Strokes away. I wish they were more popular in the States. I'd love to see them live but I'm not holding my breath for an Upstate NY date any time soon.

Agreed, this is a great album and in a very different vein than either of the previous two. It is funny to listen to these guys discovering rock and roll and incorporating new sounds and styles into their repertoire. This album has some really interesting punk, post punk and indie influences.
Aha Shake Heartbreak is still my favorite.
