I would, although I think Levant's own autobiographies (I believe he wrote 3) are probably a better place to start as this book relies heavily on them for info, but if you're just looking an overview this is a pretty good one. I thought Ryan might be a Levant fan because of his shirt with the Levant quote ("Roses are red, violets are blue, I am a schizophrenic and so am I am") so this confirms it. :)
