At $35? We're going to be paying ~ $70AUD (roughly US$60) to see RA in August. I don't know what you're whingeing about. :rolleyes

Yeah really. I'd be more than willing to pay $35 for a little less than an hour and a half of music from one of my favorite musicians. Especially with a set list like last nights and Ryan back on guitar.
From the perspective of someone who gets maybe (emphasis on maybe) 1 good show a year within driving distance all the people who are pissing and moaning about last night seem a little ungrateful and spoiled. (Just check out the threads about last night on the alt.org and you'll see what I mean about "pissing and moaning.")

At almost AUD $70 a ticket, I hope he at least plays encores during the Aussie shows though.

In the 2005 shows, he commented that he enjoyed the Aussie audience (Splendour debacle aside), so hopefully there won't get be any assholes on this tour to piss him off.

Yeah, he seemed pretty happy with the Sydney audience, that's for sure. He was a bit defensive at the beginning of the show, but once he seemed to realise the audience was on his side, he really warmed up and started enjoying himself.
