Thanks for the video, Q. I saw them live a lot in their early days, they put on a good show. I met Jenny once too, she's very sweet.

I'm really looking foreward to this one. It's out the same day as the new The New Pornographers isn't it? Should be a good monday.

Digging the choir (gospel?) on that new song. And some of the comments are REALLY pathetic. :lol

Silver Lining reminds me of a sort of a cross between Tears Of Gold and a Johnny Thunders song Neal covers "It's Not Enough"

I get where you're coming from with the Tears of Gold analogy but I've never heard the other song...

I think their new album drops this August 21????

I don't know...but Twin Cinema is pretty ballin...specially the song "use it"

but as for Rilo Kiley...i've never been a good band....for a weird reason they remind me of Feist..even though they were before Feist....

Jessica Alba is all over Feist....ohhhhhh scannndddooolussss ;)

What do yall think about this album? And how was the show Quincy?

I listened to it on their MySpace, and I liked it on the first listen. After subsequent listens, I don't like it nearly as much. There's a few good tracks, though.

Disclaimer: This does not forfeit my membership in the Jenny Lewis Fan Club.

Well UTB is probably the worst thing I have ever heard, ever, in the history of music, worse than Billy Corgan's solo album. Worse than Thom Yorke's solo album. Now that I think about it, shit this awful is generally reserved for solo albums. Also, UTB is worse than Jenny Lewis' solo album. This is really, really, really bad.

Seriously, what do I listen to, where do I go, to cleanse my mind of the awfulness of UTB? I almost feel like I should give up listening to music entirely, just out of fear that some other band I like might construct something as god awful and unlistenable as UTB. Holy Christ, I feel sick to my stomach.

:lol

I haven't even listened to the album, but that is one of the funniest reviews I've read for quite some time. :lol

Comparing it to Billy Corgan's solo album just isn't fair. :lol
