I know he was a producer rather than a director on a couple of these, but for the sake of the exercise, I included them.
What's your favourite?

Anchorman or Talladega Nights since they're the only ones I've seen. However, I found neither of them particularly funny - they're just not my type of humour. :\

Really? I thought Talledega Nights was only so-so (Borat saved that film really) but Anchorman is a classic.
I guess I don't have a very sophisticated sense of humour.

I think I like a very... British humour. But it's kinda hard to define what that is exactly...

Monty Python always seems to define British humour to me, but that's probably just because I'm a fan. In general, its a little darker and slightly more absurdist than American humour I think.

I went with 40 yr old virgin.
I haven't seen Knocked Up and I didn't think Talledega Nights was very funny. It seemed like Will was trying too hard to be funny in that movie.
Anchorman and 40 are both top notch though.

I went with Virgin as well, although Knocked Up is really fantastic and probably a better constructed film in some ways.

I've only seen Talledega Nights and Anchorman as well - I'm with Blue I didn't find them that funny. Not my humour either. I do like Monty Python though so I guess it is the British sense of humour that's different. Saw Spamalot and thought it hilarious - hubbie just sat there and looked at me pityingly.

Knocked Up for me. That being said, I love Anchorman & 40-Year-Old Virgin. Hated Talladega Nights.

They're TV shows he created. Both only lasted 1 season each. Personally, I was never a fan of Freaks and Geeks, but I really liked Undeclared.
milk was a bad choice. i pick anchorman. have not seen knocked up though.
talledega nights was not so bad. the two little boys in the movie were the best part.

I would have liked it if they got someone else to play Sam or whatever that little wiener kids name was. I hated him so much.

Yep, it was disappointing. It really only had the one joke - "two men look gay ice-skating together, ha ha" and that was pretty much it.
And the sub-plot about the brother and sister figure skaters who tried to kill Ferrell was just dumb.

Whoever didnt vote for Anchorman deserves a punch in the ovaries... seriously, the other three are not a patch on Rob Burgandy and his cohorts.
Taledaga Nights was just plain awful, which is a shame cos I'm a HUGE fan of Ferrell.
I haven't seen Knocked Up but I'll still stand by my opinion that Anchorman is better.

I just realised that a character from a sci-fi show I watch (Firefly) is in Knocked Up. His name is Alan Tudyk:

Judd produced a film that's coming out this year called "Walk Hard." Click Here (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yzjtnj8Y3U&eurl=http%3A%2F%2Fmta%2Efacebook%2Ecom%2Fprofile%2 Ephp%3Fid%3D506907233) to see the trailer (I don't know how to post youtube videos on here. Sorry). The movie looks like a parody or satire of the Johnny Cash bio film. My favorite parts are Paul Rudd as John Lennon and Jack White as Elvis.

I had to sacrifice two virgins and a chicken. But it was worth it. :upyours
Nah, I only found out how to do it the other day as well. You need to cut and paste the address and then use YouTube tags.
Like this:
This is the address of that video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yzjtnj8Y3U&eurl=http%3A%2F%2Fmta%2Efacebook%2Ecom%2Fprofile%2 Ephp%3Fid%3D506907233
Then you take out everything after the = sign.
So it becomes :4yzjtnj8Y3U
The you put the YouTube tags around it like this: [yt ] shortenedaddress [ /yt] but without the spaces.

Just as well really. Finding the chickens is easy enough, but the virgins is a whole other story.
I found this little review on the new film. Looks like some great cameos. And Reilly apparently sang all the tracks for real.
Since musical biographies keep sweeping the Oscars every year, it’s about time a comedian took the piss out of them. Judd Apatow is bringing to the screen a comedic version of such hits as Walk the Line and Ray. Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story features John C. Reilly as a musician plagued by inner demons.
"It's a pretty remarkable performance by John C. Reilly because he is the guy that would get that part [in a real drama]," said Apatow. "So he's doing something ridiculous but the acting is also fantastic. He really cries but over stupid things. It's very funny."
Apatow co-wrote with Jake Kasdan, who directs the film. "They wrote 33 songs for the movie. Jack White has a cameo as Elvis and Eddie Vedder inducts him into the music hall of fame. There's a lot of weird cameos. The Beatles are played by Jack Black (as Paul McCartney), Paul Rudd (John Lennon), Jason Schwartzman (Ringo Starr) and Justin Long (George Harrison). Nobody seems at all like any Beatle."
Cox also reportedly performs a song with Jackson Browne and Ghostface Killah during the movie.
Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story hits theaters December 14, right around awards season.

I like the others, but that movie just did it for me.
When it came out, I worked at a movie theatre and lived across the street.
My roommate was the manager and we went into the theater at 3 in the morning for a week to watch that movie.

Anchorman for me. It doesn't surprise me that Talladega Nights is coming last - apart from the scene where they're saying grace I didn't find it all that funny. The other three are all great, found it hard to choose.

I haven't seen Knocked Up, so went with 40 Yr Old Virgin. I love Carell. Anchorman has some funny moments, and so does Talladega. But 40 is just a splendid thing. I also think Catherine Keener can do no wrong (see: Your Friends & Neighbors, Being John Malkovich), so there's that.
