only info i can find:

Just got back from the show. The venue was so tiny and had great acoustics. The crowd was respectful and ryan's voice was amazing. They played tons of new songs...Totally acoustic, no harmonica at all. They played for about 2 hours and closed with I See Monsters.

Thanks mango.

I found this review from rockelschorcho:

I went to the concert, and it was great. However, Ryan got upset and stopped the concert for a while because he got tired of people getting up to piss. I understand that. But at the end, he played about 4 more songs (approx) and just walked off stage and was done.

I loved the concert, great job on Ryan's behalf, but he didn't interact with the audience at all and kinda just left everyone out of the picture.
I met him the night before hand on 6th street with my brother and he was a nice guy. I've heard stories about how he could be a jerk sometimes, so I was worried.
But over all, he was nice to us and talked about making Easy Tiger. We even got a photo with him.

But why he left off stage so quickly, I don' know. The concet was very, very short but great none the less.

Other reviews that are coming in are saying the show was great though, Jack.

We'll probably have a clearer idea tomorrow.

I agree the set list doesn't look short but if he's just singing one song after another without much of a break it doesn't take that long and it feels short. Ryan doesn't seem to be big on audience interaction at the moment. On stage - do the job - off stage seems to be the format.

Does anyone think that these shows have a whiff of "just going through the motions?" He's turning up (mostly) and just doing the job? I'm not saying that's entirely bad and yes I agree he's in great voice but there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of excitment going down.

sucks that the people who stick with him seem to get very little from him besides a cursory -- but really skilled and vocally amazing nonetheless -- performance this tour. at least i felt that way at the germantown show. he came off as very petulant. even with the audience being very supportive and appreciative, it was like being ignored. i don't get it. we're there 'cause we like him. he should at least say hey and good night. i suspect there were venue troubles when i saw him in TN last week.

I think he has basically said before that he does his "song and dance" and goes home. Bob Dylan is sort of the same way. I remember him saying something about not feeling like he had to try to make friends with the audience.

I don't know, classical pianist don't tell jokes between songs.

Big Ryan fan here. Jumped on the craziness after Gold right before Demolition and this was my second Ryan show. First time at ACL was great that's the video of To be young on you tube that's totally rad. Here are some cliff notes on last night, been waiting for that show a loooong time. Jumped out of a cab and first person I see is Brad the drummer talking to some Betty's. Outside the venue, there were lots of HOT Austin girls into the Cardinals, also had some refreshments at the bar on the balcony right outside, so pretty much Heaven. GREAT venue, no lines for anything, real chill. Saturday night! The crowd was pumped. The Cardinals came out to one of my favorite tunes. Do not let me go. Awesome! The band was on fire. For someone who had a pretty good idea of what, or if, or as, or whatever etc. a ryan show is; it was a great, great, show. But the first timers were ?confused? Ryan didn't say anything so that sucked. People were just wanting him to say, "what's up Austin" or whatever so it was strange. They wanted loud jams, too. I just don't know why he doesn't just kill the crowd with like touch feel lose, New York, Halloween head, or anything off of Rock and Roll. I wanted him and Neal to play some of those beautiful electric guitars they got. This was totally an "unplugged" show type thing and they really did a great job jamming the acoustics big time. No worries though. During the intermission, I had 5 totally beautiful girls lounging/lying on their seats all around me. So, thanks Ryan. The Cardinals are a great band and Ryan was singing his heart out. He really, really, gave it his all and that's all you can ask for. Next time, Spacewolf it dude and yes we all knew we were never gonna hear him tommorrow, but oh those birds did sing!
