RYAN ADAMS FROM STUDIO 1A TODAY
North Carolina-born Ryan Adams released his solo debut in 2000, but it was the sprawling 16-song Gold, featuring Emmylou Harris and Gillian Welch, that earned him two Grammy nominations and put his name in the alt-country spotlight. Since, Adams has recorded with Norah Jones and Grateful Dead bassist Phil Lesh while releasing albums with backing band the Cardinals. This summer’s Easy Tiger is considered his most cohesive album to date. Hear Ryan Adams recorded live in Studio 1A today at 2:00 p.m. on Music with Jay Trachtenberg.

Forgive me for being cynical but just how many interviews can one man give?

My guess is that they will talk about:
Being sober and off drugs
Label wanting a solo acoustic album
Him saying ok and band being supportive
Pretty much sums up the 20 or so interviews I've heard from this promo tour.

Went down to KGSR to sing a song for you
Radio listener out there, dodging that summer rain
Listening to me talk, probably hurt your feelings,
but not as much as it hurt your brain
KGSR, KGSR, KGSR on a rainy day. :lol

basically that someone at one of his shows (Myrtle beach show?) threw the watch on stage, and he picked it up and had always wanted one of the ones with a calculator on it, so he kept it. the alarm on the watch was set to 4:20am/pm, so when it went off when he was touring, it would signify to him that his time now "belonged" to the fans...he was on our time. it also drove him nuts when it went off during the AM, cause he couldn't figure out how to unset the alarm...
then one of the dudes in the band (not sure if it was neil or brad) said they got an email from that fan, who noticed that the watch he threw onstage was on the cover of the album, and he thought that was pretty cool
