I think the only clear cut choices for me are Beautiful Sorta, Meadowlake Street, and perhaps Blossom. I too like Rosebud, but there are way too many other good songs on here, so it would have been voted out one way or another.

Maybe it's just that there are so many fantastic tracks on the album.

Rosebud's just never really captured my attention, possibly b/c it follows Let It Ride, one of my RA favourites.

I like Rosebud too, but for a completely dorky reason. I teach literature and often I teach The Glass Menagerie by Tennessee Williams. I see lots and lots of connections between the two works.

This is possibly my favourite on this album, I remember when I got Cold Roses the day it came out, I already had Gold and Demolition but this was the album that turned me into a die-hard. When I discovered HDYKLA I was just amazed. It was one of those songs where I was forcing other people to listen to it. It's so beautiful. This survivor is really hard.

PS. I'm a member of the I Love Blossom fan club, although that is because I love every song on this album. I'd probably still vote for it before a lot of the others though.

I think it was only the very first round that was a week and then we went down to 5 days for the second round. We could have played Survivor for ever at Ryan's rate for churing out new albums.

I listened to this today - the only 2 songs I don't really love are Easy Plateau and the Beautiful thing. Other than that I don't mind which one comes out as the favourite It is such a good album.
