Tulsa Show Cancelled

Ryan Adams & The Cardinals had an opportunity that we could not pass up, and that we will hopefully be able to unveil to you all very soon. This regretfully resulted in having to cancel the October 21st show in Tulsa, OK. We promise to make it up to you soon. Watch this website for details on reimbursement for tickets already purchased for this show.

When asked about the cancellation, guitarist Neal Casal shrugged and said, "I just play guitar man."


Any guesses as to what the opportunity might be?

This was in the Tulsa World, no clue if it's really true or not. I called the ticket company (who is giving refunds)and asked if they had any idea if it would be rescheduled or what. They just said they haven't heard a thing yet and there is no time limit to return tix for a refund.

"Cain's Ballroom general manager Chad Rodgers confirmed today that the, ahem, professional musician's reason for nixing that date was that he'll be somewhere else, recording a song to be featured in an unnamed, upcoming fall TV series."

So who knows?
