Where's all the out-of-towners staying? I know nothing about New York or the area where the Hammerstein is.
I still have yet to decide if i'm actually gonna make the trek down since my buddy bailed on me.

Stuff your friend, go alone if you have to.
It's a Halloween show for Halloweenheads! The only valid excuse for not going when you've already got tickets is if you live in the wrong frigging hemisphere :boohoo

i am from baltimore, about 4+ hours south of NYC
i booked a room @ The Chelsea figuring that if i was doing the whole trip thing, i might as well stay somewhere that ive always wanted to see. 200$ for a single bedroom with no bathroom, but wtf, its manhattan. the venue is about 8-10 blocks south and central park is 2 blocks north.

Um, if you're thinking the Hotel Chelsea on 23rd Street, Central Park is 36 blocks north.

You have to go Ferris - even if it's by yourself. You will love it and yes I'm sure most folks will be in costume. I think you're so lucky just to have a ticket.

What would everybody in the Cards be?
I imagine Ryan would have like a full Darth Vader or Merlin costume or something like that.
Ooh, now there's a Photoshop project.

ryan would probably have his costume be Star Wars related.
ryan - luke
spacewolf - chewie.
neal - han.
jon - C-3PO.
brad - vader.
...i just got to nerd out about The Cards AND Star Wars. this was a big moment for me.

i thought about it, but neal's sideburns make him much more han-esque. i mean, he wears vests a lot anyway. he wouldn't even have to dress that different.
and i was thinking more Return of the Jedi style Luke. the badass luke.

Yeah, Jedi Knight Luke. Good call on the vests.

Even Jedi style Luke is wimpy. Han is the hero so bugger the vests - it has to be Ryan.
Bet you anything you like that if it was Star Wars costume Ryan would not be Luke.

Any pre-show meet-up for this one?!?
i'll be dressed as Jigsaw (my joker makeup didn't come out the way I wanted :lol). So don't be a stranger if you see me lurking around, ideally, i'll be nice and close to the stage. :guitarsolo
