it came to me one night when i was drunk, and had a bunch of slow songs on random, and it played When Will You Come Back Home after Houses On The Hill.

I really love EP but not quite as much as all the others. I cannot believe that WWYCBH has so many votes. :( Assuming sanity prevails and EP goes in this round I don't know what I'll do after that. I think I'll write all of the names on pieces of paper then lay them out on the ground and play spin the bottle with them.

Because it's a weak song that crops up too often in too many shows and it always sounds like he hits wrong notes? That's just my view.:\

no, i'm talking about the LP version.
it doesnt kick the 2nd disc off well enough, in my opinion.

my ideal disc two tracklisting goes like this.

Cold Roses
Let It Ride
Beautiful Sorta
Dance All Night
Blossom
Easy Plateau
Rosebud
Life Is Beautiful
Friends
If I Am A Stranger

i set it up like that in an iTunes playlist once, and it flows much better.

edit: i switched around Let It Ride and Cold Roses

No I'm not - I'm not fussed on it at all although I confess my heart sinks when I hear the intro on a live show. For me it's a song that never really flows...it always sounds disjointed somehow and like he's having a vocal battle with it. Peaceful Valley affects me the same. They both make me wince.
