Home Makeover: Tobeyoung Edition

okay, so i moved into my new apartment about three months ago and it looks like everything is finally squared away.

thing is, my walls are still BLANK. i havent managed to get anything i have framed or in suitable condition for hanging, so im left with an incredibly intimidating amount of wall space.

then, i look over on top of the tele and alas: the jewel case of GOLD is sitting there, face down... practically staring at me.

its at about that point that i realize that all of my problems are solved; if i can just find a huge flag big enough to cover the main wall of my room (which is 9' X 15') the job is done.

BUT, and this is where you come in my fellow TBYers..

where in the world can i find an english flag, saint george's cross, that is a suitable size?

have you guys ever emulated anything of this sort before?

I'd look on ebay - you can find anything & everything there.

Edit, a quick search brought up multiple that are 3'x5' not quite as big as your wall - but still would take up a pretty good chunk. Here's a cheap buy it now:

im really hoping i can find one that is at least big enough to make up most of the wall.

EDIT X 2: and while its on topic, anyone know what kind of turntable the one on the back of gold is. ive only seen one like it before and i cant remember. i have an old turntable and im thinking about investing in a new one. but ill make another thread for that later, as im sure this is the right place to ask about that.

I found a store that can custom print the flag to 5 x 8. But its pricey. As burgerqueen said, most of the stores seem to offer 3 x 5 as standard size. Might be worth checking out to see whether other places can custom print cheaper if you really want the larger size.

i think im going to call that place that sydneyfan found and see if they can do the st. george's cross big enough.

i'll end up paying a bit of money, but hey.. its something ill have forever and it will be really really cool.
