All right, being an art school student and all, this is the sort of stuff I know. It came down between this and Star Wars, but I figure this might be a little more interesting for people.
Here goes...I'll start with a question relatively vital to the art world.
1. Which of the following artists is credited with being the first to invent and demonstrate the idea of linear perspective?
A.) Leonardo daVinci
B.) Jan van Eyck
C.) Pierro della Francesca
D.) Filippo Brunelleschi

Speaking personally I think I would have preferred Star Wars...this is wicked (and I mean cruel not great) - It's something different thought which is good.

All right, the correct answer was Filippo Brunelleschi.
The story goes that he was sitting on the steps of the Santa Maria del Fiore in Florence, where he was designing and building the church's legendary dome, when he noticed all the lines of the buildings were converging into one point.

The correct answer was B, 21"x30", which was small enough for daVinci to take with him on his travels from Italy to France. Supposedly, he began painting it in 1502 and didn't finish it until shortly before his death in 1519.

The correct answer was Hieronymous Bosch, whose triptych "Garden Of Earthly Delights" shows the Garden of Eden, mankind sinning on Earth, and hell in 3 panels. The hell panel depicts bird creatures eating men, men with flutes up their ass, people being forced to vomit or defecate coins. Also, the cover to Celtic Frost's album, "Into The Pandemonium," is a small part of the hell panel.

Originally, the Max Rebo band, who play in Jabba's Palace in ROTJ, were hired to play at the Mos Eisley cantina, but the Modal Nodes were so offended that they attempted to kill the Max Rebo band. After the whole fight and one dead member of the Max Rebo band, Figrin D'an and the Modal Nodes kept their job at the cantina.

I would say start with Splinter of the Mind's Eye. I think its one of the first EU novels.
Published in 1978, according to Wookieepedia.
I think I read the graphic novel back in the day, but I don't think I've ever read the actual novel.

I see them everywhere. There's a shelf in Forbidden Planet that I just stare at. I've walked past them in charity shops, but then I walk past them again and they're gone.
I am full of film storylines tonight

Dear Q.
Just buy one.
The Rogue Squadron series is really fucking good, too.

My first attempt was a huge phail though, it was a graphic novel of empire, but where luke dies at the start. It was so bad.

Let's make a list.
Print it off, go to the bookstore, get anything on the list.
