View Full Version : New Feature: Digg Threads

I have added the ability to Digg threads. I think this will bring in some more traffic. If there's a thread you think is newsworthy, click the "Digg This Story" button. You will be creating an article that is searchable on the Digg website.

A membership at www.digg.com is required to Digg stories.

In case anyone isn't familiar with Digg and how it works:

Basically, the more you Digg a story, the better chance it has of making it to front pages of the news section. And that mean more people see the link to TBY.

Rob, I assume the the Digg points we can accumulate represent the number of times someone has dugg the story that we submit?

This sounds horribly complex. I have trouble with new things. It's a good idea though.

You have to sign up for Digg. Then, whenever an interesting or newsworthy thread appears (and that happens pretty much every couple of minutes here :upyours) you can submit it to digg.com by pressing the nifty little button. It only takes a minute.

People reading digg who are interested in the story then end up here, poor things.

What's up with Digg counter under the avatars? Does it only count a Digg when you're the first person? I've done a few but it still says I have zero.

I was wondering the same thing. I have 17 Diggs but no idea how I got them.

I'm not sure where that # comes from. I think it's supposed to be the number of times the user's threads were dugg.

I think I'll turn it off.
