Anyone heard of this festival? It's in Craponne, France. The band I'm in was just asked to play it, and I am trying to figure out what to expect. It'll be my first time to Europe.

I've never heard of it, but I just Googled and it looks pretty good. Alison Krauss has played it before and it seems pretty well respected. Plus, you'll be in France so you really can't go wrong with that. :upyours

That's right. Dierks Bentley is headlining in 2008. That's quite a change from Alison Krauss, but he's still, in my opinion, one of the best in pop country these days.

I've never heard of Dierks Bentley. Sounds like I should check him out.

He's definitely American pop country, but at least he's not completely cheesey like most of that genre these days. Plus, he has a bad ass band and puts on a pretty good live show.

I actually saw him in College Station a few years back....and at Musicfest in Steamboat as well. He does put on a good show.
