As much as I would love to see them do Alpine again. I hope they play in the City this time around again. 2001 was amazing.

here are three essential components to any respectable Pitchfork News tour story-- dates, cities, and venues-- but when your band is called Radiohead, you can get away with announcing them one at a time.

Today Radiohead confirmed that they are indeed coming to North America in the near future, and provided folks with a handy list of just which cities they'll visit. No dates, no venues, just cities. Did yours make the cut? Have a look (arranged alphabetically):

Atlanta
Boston
Charlotte
Chicago
Cleveland
Dallas
Houston
Indianapolis
Los Angeles
Miami
Montreal
New York
Philadelphia
San Diego
San Francisco
Santa Barbara
Seattle
St. Louis
Tampa
Toronto
Vancouver
Washington, DC

I saw this post by Feeds this morning...

Looks like those rumors (http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/article/news/48125-coachella-2008-announced-update-full-lineup) about Radiohead (http://www.radiohead.com/) playing the inaugural edition of the All Points West Music & Arts Festival (http://apwfestival.com/) were true, as reported by URB Magazine (http://www.urb.com/permalink/2325/Radiohead-to-perform-TWO-nights-at-APW.html) and subsequently confirmed. All Points West, produced by AEG Live and Goldenvoice (aka the people behind Coachella), takes place August 8-10 in Liberty State Park in Jersey City, New Jersey. Radiohead will headline the first two nights, August 8 and 9.
More North American tour dates (http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/article/news/48625-radiohead-north-american-tour-details) should be announced soon; they will probably be in July and early August, per the big gaping hole in Radiohead's touring schedule right now. According to Radiohead authority At Ease Web, Japanese and South American tours (http://www.ateaseweb.com/2008/02/20/japanese-radiohead-tour-slated-for-fall-08/) should pop up in the fall. Thanks BT, if they'll be in Jersey in August, I'm guessing they'll do the Cleveland show around then.

More shows in the US for August here:

Looks like I will not be seeing them after all. :( The Cleveland show is on the 4th and we just got tickets to see someone else on the 2nd + the following week we were going back home to MI for a week & visit family. I don't think we can afford another trip all that week. Hell, I don't think we'd have the time even if we could.

Still no Australian dates yet, but October looks possible.

Still no Aussie tour but at least I'll get to hear a show while I'm waiting.

NPR are going to stream Radiohead's concert from Aug. 28, 2008 at the Santa Barbara Bowl on Monday Sept. 8
at noon ET.
