Truly, if you're a Greg Dulli or a Mark Lanegan fan this is just, wow.

It has Greg's signature sinister groove, which is perfectly accented and beefed up by Lanegan's voice.

I don't know a whole lot about Lanegan, so any Lanegan fans feel free to chime in where I've missed.

By the way, I LOVE Lanegan's voice. It's nice and low and melancholic where Greg's is half rough, half smooth and eerie. GREAT juxtaposition of the two.

Mark Lanegan was lead singer for the Screaming Trees and Greg Dulli is the mastermind behind The Afghan Whigs and The Twilight Singers - if that helps

I know Dulli is what you get if you take a really smooth soul singer, make him really angry and give him a great punk wail and a pitch dark side. The sound is rather dark and sinister - but in a good way. In the same way that Anne Rice novels are good and the way pitch darkness heightens your senses.

I'm vaguely familiar with the Afghan Whigs...and I like the little I've heard. This sounds interesting, I'll check it out. :upyours

You really should. It really is amazing. I've been a HUGE Afghan Whigs fan ever since high school, when Gentlemen came out. Lanegan and Dulli just mesh extremely well.

:D

I used to listed to the Whigs and Screaming Trees quite a lot back in the day... sounds like an interesting colaborative, no doubt.
