Self-domestication advocates Be Your Own Pet (http://www.beyourownpet.net/) have been out there encouraging the kids to Get Awkward (http://www.pitchforkmedia.com/article/news/47326-be-your-own-pet-iget-awkwardi-on-new-lp), as you know. Those kids can take the lesson home beginning March 18 in North America (via Ecstatic Peace (http://www.ecstaticpeace.com/)/Universal (http://www.universalrecords.com/)) and March 17 in the UK (via XL (http://www.xlrecordings.com/)).
This past weekend found the rabble-rousing quartet in fine form at Portland, Oregon's Doug Fir Lounge (http://www.dougfirlounge.com/). They head to SXSW tomorrow, then see what kind of trouble they can stir up in Europe over the weeks beyond.
