What do you think of it? I'm a big Palahnuik fan but I was pretty disappointed by Haunted.

Am I in way over my head? Probably, yes.

4 months later and I still haven't finished this. I got up to where he takes his sheets to the dry cleaners. :lol

What's the Steve Martin book like, wok? I read a really positive review of it yesterday and I'm tempted to buy it.

I really like that book. I read The Sun Also Rises and was bored out of my tree, but I finished it. Could you recommend any more Hemingway?

His short stories are mostly where it's at. His novels tend to meander.
This would be a good place to start with more Hemingway.
It contains some of my favorites, like "A Clean Well Lighted Place" and "The Short Happy Life of Francis Macomber". :upyours

It's basically a memoir.
But, Steve wrote it, so it's not dry and boring like most memoirs are.
I like it so far. If it ain't too expensive, I'd say go for it.

CS Lewis - Out of the Silent Planet.

unfortunately not as good as narnia so far. probably because it wasn't written for children, and kids novels are awesome. an interesting take on what space could be like though.
