I can only deal with so much Chuck, that one is alright. have you read any of his other stuff?

I work the front desk of a hotel in a small town. I think there are only 2 reservations coming in today so I'll more than likely spend 6 hours reading.

I read Sex, Drugs and Coco Puffs a couple months ago and really enjoyed it. Other than that all I've read are a couple articles he did for Spin before I stopped reading that magazine.

Every so often I need a healthy dose of trash - so after Leaving Dirty Jersey (true story of a Meth addict) - I'm reading Diary of a New York Call Girl.

As for Ryan's list, apart from Graham Hancock, I think he needs to seriously review his reading material - nerdy feral librarian?

Sweet. I'm adding it to my "must read" list.

Just finished it today. Loved it. I actually think I liked it a little better than Coco Puffs.

Now I'm reading Love, Poverty and War: Journeys and Essays by Christopher Hitchens.

I'm reading Tess of the D'Ubervilles right now. Nothing better than 19th century fiction for me... and Thomas Hardy is fab, totally fab.

I gotta say, I wasn't very into Love, Poverty and War at first, but now it's starting to get really good. I'm thinking his new book, God is Not Great: How Religion Poisons Everything, is going to be even better.

Beautiful book.

I've just started Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman. I haven't read Pratchett before. It's very funny so far.

I just heard about that book less than an hour ago and I really (REALLY) want to read it.

As my brothers friend wrote on the front page:

"Hope you find this as depressingly reminiscent of the present as I did"
