I'm halfway through Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. I am reading them all in a row. And some ahole from a Myspace group spoiled the end of Deathly Hallows for me.

My favorite new find is Sylvia Plath. I really liked The Bell Jar.

Just finished reading The Hours by Michael Cunningham. It was kind of morbid, with the theme of death (suicide, to be precise) running through the entire book. I found it rather depressing :\

Based on the wonderful reviews earlier in this thread, I've decided to re-read this book for the umpteenth time.

A very wise choice. I've found it hard to settle down to anything for a while now after reading that. Are any of his other books as good?

I bought it in a bookshop today. :)

If you're interested in being a sneaky bugger with a computer I'd get it. :)

Currently reading Hearts in Atlantis by Stephen King, an author I've never read anything by until now.

I think I could have chosen from a few covers, but the one I have was cheapest on Amazon, so maybe it IS the Canada cover.

That cover kicks ass.

When AP came out in America, feminist rebelled and dumped blood on the book in a California Barnes & Nobles. So maybe the plastic protection is a good idea. :lol

Ha, pointless feminist protest No # 657773838888

I have to admit, I felt like a perve buying a book wrapped in plastic though.

The fact that I was wearing a trenchcoat, dark glasses and breathing heavily probably didn't help. :\

I wouldn't have judged. Have you ever read The Story Of O? I asked an independent bookseller to order it for me once, and they said no. They didn't carry "trash".

Fuck them. :)
