Alright I have taken my time with this one. I think it is fine. I have some issues with the project overall, but I think it works alright. It is a type of album I just am simply not a big fan of. Something that takes full solace in serenity at the cost of saying or meaning anything. Basically it feels like an elevated moody early 20's sad girl project. EDIT: 68 -> 63: So funnily enough this actually shrunk on me. I find this to be a very dull listen compared to her last records. I want to be able to soak in the lyrics since Billie's songwriting is pretty damn bold here, but the sound of this album is like an empty room painted with some very pristine white paint.
