So sad. It's a pity that the proceeds from the house sale can't be directed towards a charity or something.......the relatives certainly don't deserve it.

I used to work in Fouveaux Street Surry Hills, which is just a block from Kippax Street. The article is right about the setting - there are a lot of hostels, cheap rentals and back-packer accommodation. It's also semi-industrial and dominated by clothing factories and fashion design warehouses. I can see how it's an easy area to just go unnoticed, but that doesn't really excuse the family doing nothing for eight years.
