Problem Sharing Apple Music Playlist via Messenger

Is anyone else with an Apple Music subscription able to share a playlist via the Messenger app? Whenever I try to, Messenger opens for a split second and then disappears. If I try simply copying the playlist link and pasting it in a Messenger conversation, then the link--when it works at all--just goes to the homepage for Apple Music.

check for updates that might be needed......for both apps or your system.
