Re: Selling off your collection

At the moment I'm keeping mine, but I'm not a completist collector. I have the albums and a few of the singles and I'm happy with those. I will buy the new album when/if it comes.

Re: Selling off your collection

Most of my RA is digital, but a pretty large collection. Keeping those for now. I've put 1 record up for sale (I had 2 copies). I'll hold on to the others for now... I have most of the later 7"s, clear Orion, S/T, and a smattering of CDs.

Re: Selling off your collection

My collection is growing! I was never much a fan of his music. But lately I have really been able to connect with it.

Looking forward to Big Colors later this year!

Yikes...

#TheSoManyUs guys had better put their money where their mouth is and parade down Hollywood Blvd. wearing the Cat's Pyjamas and RA T-shirts.

I never got an RA Shirt, though I did covet that rose belt buckle. For some reason it seems a little goofy to strut around town wearing a dude's name on my shirt (though band names don't bother me).

Re: Selling off your collection

Iíve got quite a few Ryan Adams t-shirts that I wore regularly, amongst others a beautiful blue one with a large Cold Roses logo on it. My favourite since 2006. Nowadays itís in the back of my closet next. But hey, itís an excuse to buy new band shirts isnít it?

Whoah - crazy that all the shirts are on discount. Not going to buy one, but just weird that that's happening.

Same here about a name. Don't have a problem with bands.

The only Ryan shirt I had was the rose emblem. Don't know what happened to it.

Re: Selling off your collection

As part of a general sell-off of stuff to de-clutter, my extra Prisoner, End of the World box set is for sale on eBay with buy-it now price of $99 and a "best offer" option. Been up there for 3 weeks, no takers, no offers, etc.

It's been my practice to buy two copies of vinyl releases, one to listen to the other to save. I'll probably sell off the other sealed RA stuff over the next several weeks too.

RIP Ryan Adams...but for the 14 year old . . .

I can't remember if that was on his website, but I was just hypothetically thinking it'd be funny if the prices of all the tshirts on the Pax Am website were cut, but the price on this one went up.

I don’t know. I’m just saying he’ll have a new web store at some point to sell stuff, unless he plans on being done with music.

There's no way that Ryan doesn't re-emerge at some point down the line, but it's interesting that his camp has resigned themselves to shutting everything down for awhile.
