Do it. We did.

that's bold, although i didnt rewatch the first season before watching the 2nd in its entirety so my memory is quite hazy. Some of the characters this season seemed quite pointless. I thought Dustin and Lucas really shined this season, I cant remember if Mike was better in season 1.

Episode 7 of season 2 just seemed like it went nowhere where it could have been a big contribution to the plot. Jonathan Byers seemed pointless this season other than for the romance with Nancy. I may give season 1 a re watch again and will certainly re watch season 2.

i agree, honestly, i pray it doesn't turn into a walking dead, we are going to milk it for everything its worth and just keep on producing seasons. It's really good right now, i hope they dont lose site of what made it great. I'm already wincing that they have a talking stranger things show

episode seven and the entire 'secret sister' subplot was silly/unnecessary

really glad i skipped episode seven - could tell it would be bad by the synopsis

actually they are now saying they are torn between four or five ssns - reasoning that 'four seems too short/five seems too long'

Re: Stranger Things

I binged it in two sittings over the weekend, loved it. The last scene at the Christmas dance brought the feels on big time. But Time After Time is one of my favourite songs ever so thatíll do it.

I'm not sure what to make of episode 7. Part of me is like "what was that for?" but then part of me wonders if it was put here to potentially be some sort of tie to events that will happen over the next two seasons. I feel like a lot of what the Duffer brothers do is pretty calculated -- why would they make such a lame episode for nothing?

ive had a few friends mention that getting through that episode was painful

personally i think this is a perfect example of social networking interfering with art - there were so many people that wondered if eleven was the only one and so the brothers decided to answer that question and for me it was a train wreck

if they already had it planned - well thats all the worse

they probly will expand upon it in future episodes though

Not bad. I'm finishing chapter 9 now.

I just realized that I briefly met the woman who plays 11's mom back in 2010.
