Grrrr! The PBS station screwed something up, and all the current ACLs on my Tivo are misnamed. None of them were actually what they. So sad.
that sucks!

luckily there are a handful of songs from the show on youtube

Very nice!

Just grabbed a pair of tickets, row 26 dead center for Red Rocks on Labor Day. Should be tasty!

Re: The Jason Isbell Thread

Just bought tickets for the Kings Theater (Brooklyn) show next weekend. Third row, center. Bought them off craigslist but they're hard tickets, but I still can't help but be the tiniest bit worried they're fakes b/c they weren't as marked-up as I expected considering how good the seats are!

I heard Amanda hasn't been playing with them at least the last few shows. Anyone know if that's all tour or if she'll be back?

She posted about that recently: https://twitter.com/amandashires/sta...47699543953409

I think she's in the studio right now, so I wouldn't bank on her being there. But, she doesn't have tour dates until April so maybe she'll pop in for a few shows.

I personally think the band is better when she's around. I love her contributions especially songs like Codeine.

think the band is better when’s she’s at home.

they try too hard to incorporate her where she doesn’t really belong sometimes.

Thanks, they're such a good band. I love his interviews, so normal, no BS. And he's right about quitting cigarettes!!! Hardest thing to quit, though I've not had a drug addiction so I can't speak to that.

You may be in luck. Jason just tweeted Amanda Shires is joining the band tonight in Buffalo. I assume she'll stick around.

Got tickets for Sept. 4 in SLC.
Not my favorite venue, it's a really nice theater and the sound is pretty good, but they make you sit in your seats, and no photos AT ALL inside the hall. Not even a pre-concert selfie.
I'd rather see bands at our outdoor amphitheater. Nonetheless I'm still going.

Re: The Jason Isbell Thread

Saw Jason last night. I've been to a lot of concerts, but this one was something special. He played 7 songs from Southeastern and two DBT songs; 23 songs total. Super high energy show, then he brings out Elephant and rips 2000 hearts out at once. His band is like The Heartbreakers at their peak.

And his merch is cool. Snagged a shirt with a T-Rex on it.

It looks like an amazing venue. I pulled up some pictures and it's stunning. I saw Jason a few years ago at symphony hall in Chicago. 3rd row center. Awesome show, but similar deal with everyone sitting the whole time. Kinda a weird vibe.

Just coming here to ask. I saw Ryan responded to J’s tweet and Isbell liked it. If they are cool again, I guess I can follow Ryan again.
