Thumbs up Susquehanna Bank Center, Camden, NJ (Dec. 19, 2008)

Hi Everyone,

I was at the show tonight. The Cardinals were in top form. They did a long jamout on Off Broadway and Ryan was in really good spirits. He yelled out his famous "OH SNAP!" at the beginning of the set. After we gave him big applause, he said "Man, you sound revved up. You must have been a Dunkin Donuts...Chocolate Glazed!" After someone yelled out, he was like "Dude you could be in a metal band! All that with no amplification!" Ryan was futsing with one of his pedals a few times and his mic should have been louder. But it was an exceptional set and they made it a good time.

Set List:

Cobwebs (My fav Cardinology song)
Crossed Out Name
Everybody Knows---Ryan said he took a Muclinex cause he has a cold, so he dedicated this to his cold).
Fix It
Off Broadway
Go Easy
Sinking Ships
Come Pick Me Up
I Taught Myself How to Grow Old (Ryan said it's about depression, to which Neal replied "I love that song. I can't wait to play it!")
Natural Ghost
Two
Magick

UGH. Well, when they opened with Rock and Roll Star, Liam was horrible. He got a little better but really he can't sing. The band sounded great. They did most of the hits, but no Live Forever, probably because Liam can't do the falsetto. Don't get me wrong: I have always loved Oasis. But I was disappointed. Show highlight: Gem and Noel doing Don't Look Back in Anger. They played for about an hour and a half. Given the price of the tickets, they should have done two hours in my opinion.

Love that song. And love Noel's voice. He should sing more IMO.

Glad the Cards put on a good set for you!

I totally agree with you. Remember their Unplugged? I thought Noel did a great job. Someone said one time that it's a special thing when the writer actually sings the songs.

I'd be happy if Noel sang all of the songs.

No way man. Liam is a geezer...he feels it so much more than Noel, Liam is Oasis. Noel is no doubt the better singer, and Liam's voice is shot...but he still genuinely believes Oasis are still the most important band on the planet, and he gives it everything.

Noel's solo record will be something else though.

I didn't know he was working on one. I would be very keen to hear that. Are there any plans for when it'll be released?

Yeah, you're so totally right - Liam is Oasis, a total rock and roll star.. swagger and all!
