Re: Red Rocks - Morrison, CO - June 20

ill say this

a lot of bands play the exact same setlist song for song every night

at least ryan has about 35-40 songs that he plays right not (even if at least 15 are the same every time)

He would need more time with this group of musicians to work up a bigger pool of songs, I'd think. Hopefully he'll get it.

I understand that for sure, I just think stoners are much more enjoyable to be around than drunks. In my experiences, people smoking a J tend to not fight, be too loud, or push/shove compared to people loaded up on booze.

Pretty cool you got to walk around a bit and see the venue. It's an amazing place!

His catalogue is massive - I wish he would try to mix it up a little more. It's just bizarre. He's played basically the same core songs for 3+ years now going back to the Shining only mixing it up when he's solo or with the bluegrass band.

No but after seeing some other bands lately that play the exact same set I'm glad Ryan doesn't at least do that

I know I'm settling but still

The best time to see him and his full catalogue is definitely solo unfortunately

Yeah, the blue repress. I think all of the most recent run 7"s were there for $8 flat.
