I love all 3, but Cold Roses is still my favorite.

Re: 29 Was Ryan's best album of 2006

Hi, I'm new to this board. I'm so afraid I will say something stupid right now so everyone will hate me. x/

Anyway, according to me 'Jacksonville City Nights' is his best release out of the three releases in 2005. Though I can't wait for another album to come out, hopefully next year. There should definitely be, when Ry seems to be more creative than ever with all the new stuff on the dot com for example.

Cheers,
Emelie

Re: 29 Was Ryan's best album of 2005

Hard to say... by now I've (over)played CR & JCN soooo much that the "better than" sensors are numbed out. 29 is so depressing that I've been forced to reduce listening or go back on medication.

It is a very dark album. Most of the songs are about death.
