What Are You Reading Now?

I know we have a book recommendation thread, but I thought a what are you reading right now type thread might be nice. I'm currently re-reading The Andy Warhol Diaries, fascinating stuff.

So what's everyone reading now?

Britain Under Thatcher...it's very dull, but it's got to be done.

Re-reading The Inferno - last time I read it was high school. Thought I'd refresh my memory on it

YEATS!!! He is my absolute FAVORITE poet in all the world! And that is saying something! I'm so glad I'm not the only one who adores him.

Re: What Are You Reading Now?

Seriously a Madonna bio, I haven't been a fan since I was a girl... but the book was a present. (P.S. isn't it strange how people do that) So I'm giving it go. Its rather entertaining. I'll admit those personality types fascinate me.

Re: What Are You Reading Now?

Lately been going through my Oscar Wilde to pick out quotes for one of my pointless time-killing projects. Wilde is one of the most quotable authors ever - you should see my copy of Dorian Gray

Totally agree, I love Wilde. Did you see the movie Wilde with the great Stephen Fry? (Also Jude Law) Great movie.

Definitely give it a watch. I'm a big Stephen Fry fan and he makes an excellent Wilde. Jude Law is also wonderful as Bosie.

This is from the same guy who wrote "The Hours" and its terrific so far. Its three separate, yet interconnected short stories all based in New York.
