I go out to films - not stay in - but having gone to see "Happy Feet" last night - I think I should stay in and get a DVD in future.

I saw The Prestige last night and I think it's the best film (new or otherwise) I've seen this year. Brilliant cast and the script is not like anything you've seen before. I think its even better than Memento.

I've been meaning to see The Prestige, but still haven't gotten around to it.
Thanks, C, I'll get off my ass and go see it before it's too late.

Ha, you may not think so sicottem, but I thought it had actually had more layers of complexity and meaning than Memento. It's the sort of film I'll probably see more than once. Jackman and Bale are both fantastic.

Re: Movie Recommendations

The Omen remake, it was very true, but prefer the original, Julia Styles (however you spell it) wasn't very good casting man shes like 25 a bit too young to be playing her character.
I would advise watch the original. Unless your curious like I was.
Silent Hill aswell great cast pretty lame storyline worth seeing if you like that sort of thing.
Hmmm, now I am trying to think of any good films that came from computer games.... anyone?

At one point there was going to be a Halo movie....it was going to be worked on by Peter Jackson....but with all of the crap that has gone on recently between him and his movie studio, it is doubtful to happen.....

im not sure i would enjoy that anyway...

Wow, there are a lot of dodgy sounding films on that list. I think the only one I've actually seen is Resident Evil. And that was pretty bad.

I did use to watch Mortal Kombat the TV series ahhh yeah late night TV, but the best game made TV series was Sonic The Hedgehog. Dunno if you's all caught that but it was class.

Just rented "Scoop". Written and directed by Woody Allen. Very much a Woody Allen film. I enjoyed it immensely.

Re: Movie Recommendations

Watched Hard Candy last night. Sort of a cautionary tale for pedophiles, this is a quite confronting but very original film. Worth watching for the clever dialogue alone.

Re: Movie Recommendations

The site that it's on could be having issues or you might now be viewing it through your cookies if you recently viewed it on the site. If you really want the pic to show you could save it and host it in your own photobucket, for example. That would be the best way.
