I'd love Blackhole but my guess is a new album in the fall.

Re: What next?

Going through my records this morning, I came across my Whiskeytown pressings.

Remember before Prisoner(maybe it was that promo cycle, or maybe it was the HB anniversary), he was talking about WT stuff and revisiting their catalog? Maybe 2018 will be a WT anniversary year with a tour and some deluxe reissues.

Re: What next?

He's really been silent on social media, huh? Hopefully he's getting some well-earned rest and cooking up something good for later in the year.

Re-visited a bunch of the 7" series over the weekend, there's some great stuff in there. Wouldn't mind if he started that up again to lead up to a new album.

This post from December had me incredibly excited for whatever sound he is cooking up next. As much as I like the Smiths influenced sound, McCartney/Beatles influenced Ryan could really be something.

I'm really excited for whatever is coming up next. He recently deleted some of his Instagram photos and removed his profile picture as well. I wonder what's up with that?

I know I keep saying this but that 7" series had some absolute belters and if he'd taken 12 -13 songs from them it would have been his best album of his career. Other albums would have had better songs but he's neverproduced a consistent album from start to finish.

I've listened to the prisoner 7" series a bit and they pale in comparison.

Probably. I don't think he follows Amanda Shires anymore either. But maybe I missed her scrolling through.

He still on good terms with Marshall Vore? I know he got a co-write on the Phoebe Bridgers song about Ryan, so there's no telling

Ahh didnt know about Midnight Wave.

Yeah apparently she's mentioned it at a few live dates recently, as well as at the end of playing it during her KRCW session.

I wouldn't look too much into this. A lot of companies/celebs do this or have very low following numbers.

Thatís interesting, I never put that together. Makes sense given the content of the song. She wouldíve been 21/22 at that time?

Who knows though.
