Life was pretty good. The creature was creepy. The ending was sad.

I was cynical going in so I'm sure that didn't help but I just didn't think it brought anything fresh to this kinda story. I will say it problem was a better experience in the theater than at home

I just watched both of these also. Get Out was excellent. I was incredibly disappointed with Life. Not a fan of that one.

i got it via netflix back in the day - looks like youtube has it for two bucks

also - if you have a library card you can stream it for free via hoopla

sure thing - ive found a bunch of really great/rare stuff on there also - including scarecrow - a film from 1973 starring gene hackman and al pacino [the only film they ever did together]

I love Scarecrow. I believe Hackman said it was his favourite performance.

Now, back to horror. I saw a film called Scarecrows a couple years ago. It's campy, but still has a creepy feel to it. I bought it in a triple-pack DVD release with the 70s version of Invasion of the Body Snatchers and From Beyond.
