Re: Podcasts

I want to get into podcasts more for my new commute. I want ones that teach me something or make for good conversation, because I don't have the attention span to read nonfiction. Any suggestions?

what kinds of things do you want to learn about? Stuff You Should Know immediately jumps to mind. Also Stuff You Missed in History Class.

Thanks for the suggestions, sleigher, balv, Andy and FavoriteEver! I've started downloading some of your suggestions. Just realized that the podcast app on my phone has a "Best of the Podcast" feature for each so I'm just starting with those episodes.

I heard this one is very good. He was promoting it on the My Favorite Murder podcast that I listen to. I really like Conan O'Brien.

I've been listening to The Man in the Window. Six part series from the LA Times about the Golden State Killer. It's alright. Some interesting stuff there, but also a lot of repetitive information.

I just finished listening to this, and I feel like the only really worthwhile episodes are the last 2 or 3. There's some info from Bonnie, a family who basically adopted him as their own, and kids who lived on the same street as him in the 1990s. That information is interesting.
