Re: The Smashing Pumpkins Reissues

He sees are there. Between James playing a few shows with them last year and Billy publically saying that he's happy Darcy is playing bass again, it's pretty clear it's happening.

“I just talked to [James Iha] the other day, things look good for us getting together to play,” Corgan told Miller. “We’re talking about it, we’ll see.”

Corgan added, “Here’s the thing, being honest, there’s a willingness for us to play, but there’s also, the world has changed a lot since we didn’t play. The reunion thing is always a bit weird, because then people come in with their expectations. So my whole thing is if we’re going to do it, I think we do it to make people happy, and not go against the tide of what people would want to hear and that type of stuff, but my interest in it is sort of limited. I’m not going to do it for 14 years of my life.”

Also, his friendship and appearances on Alex Jones' show has really turned me off to anything he does.

Re: The Smashing Pumpkins Reissues

Yeah, I'm pretty good at separating the art from the artists (I mean, I'm on a Ryan Adams board), but I'm having a hard time with BC.

Isn't James gearing up to go on tour with A Perfect Circle?

Re: The Smashing Pumpkins Reissues

I’m guessing it’s gonna be a Fall tour. Probably around an album release. But I wouldn’t be surprised for them to play a couple big shows here or there between APC dates.
