He keeps captioning all of these photos with "BIG COLORS" - hope that doesn't end up as the album title

Serge Gainsbourg has once written a song about lollipops which contained "playful double meanings referring to oral sex". Maybe Miley is referring to that?

Ryly Cy'dams collaboration is not advised by the Skanky, but that mashup would actually be pretty good.

Her eyes were whispering *don't tell a soul* in that pic with her lips wrapped around the lolli

He did say it a few times while in NYC. I also found this post from about a week before he went to NYC to record: https://www.instagram.com/p/BkUcOaal...isterryanadams

Re: New Tracks, Prisioner 2/3

Big Colors would be the worst album title he's ever had, in my opinion of course.

If Cardinology would've been a true platform showcasing the energy and jams The Cards pulled off live, the title would've been perfect. Unfortunately it was the exact opposite.

My least favorite name is S/T. Never cared when bands/artists did that.

Guys, there has been a critical re-evaluation of DMB in the past few months. Its cool to like them now.

Re: New Tracks, Prisioner 2/3

The first 3 RCA records and the Lillywhite Sessions is all really good. Its a shame their fanbase sucked. But yeah BTCS is as big of a masterpiece that that band is gonna do.

100% right. And BTCS has aged well. It'll get a vinyl re-release later this year and I'm looking forward to it.

The wheels fell off pretty quickly after that. LWS would have been a masterpiece I think, but obviously they never got around to finishing it. The output since then has been some great live years, some awful live years, some dreadful albums (stand up) and a lot of meh (Big Whiskey, AFTW). I tried and couldn't make it to the end of their latest studio effort.

Now that Roi is gone and Boyd is out of the band, it's really a shell of DMB anyway.

But it's interesting to me to see how perception of the band has changed. Ladybird helped. I think we'll continue to see a greater appreciation for their first 3 studio efforts.

Re: New Tracks, Prisioner 2/3

Apparently, if the setlist is good, the band has been killing it live and Boyd being gone has been a huge driver.

New album is OK. Like the last few LPs, 3-4 good tracks.
