I love that beer. Their Summer Ale is excellent too, amongst others.

the only thing i drink that is remotely close to beer is raspberry lambic framboise.

The only problem with this framboise is that it only has 2.5% abv. It's more like dessert than anything.

Mix it with Young's Double Chocolate Stout. It tastes yummy.

My ex-roomates and I used to do this on a regular basis.

Re: Beer

Another good beer is the one I am holding in my picture... Delirium Tremens. Yummy! And it is 8.5%. They have other kinds that go as high as 10%.

Love Pliny but Hopslam has it beat. It's a seasonal release that's pretty tough to find and hard on the wallet at 17.99 a sixer.

I usually pay about 12 for 6, so that's not too bad...I assume this beer is mainly found in the Midwest, correct?

Midwest and Florida up to Pennsylvania on the eastern seaboard. Where do you get the Russian River stuff at? Do they distribute up north?

I had the Pliny when I went to Oregon on business. They distribute as fas as Philly and that's it. The best IPA I've found in Mass is AleSmith IPA...and that's in downtown Boston.

Maybe I can catch Hopslam when I'm in Milwaukee or Kansas City

Re: Beer

I tried this beer last night from Lagunitas brewery up here called Gnarly Wine.
It tastes really good and has an ABV of 10%-12%
I think this shit's gonna get me in trouble.

Re: Beer

Let's see... good MN beer.

Summit EPA and Summit IPA
Schell's Bock, Dark and basically anything they make.
Surly brewing company makes good brews.
Grain Belt is the best cheap beer known to man.

The ones I want the most when I go home are Schell's Bock and Summit EPA.
