i'm really surprised that i never noticed the different ending. just listened to the pallas pressing again and it is definitely better than the original.

Wait, where is the new JCN? Been looking for it to pop for the last few years and haven't seen it! Help?

Was really hoping for Easy Tiger - have an original that sucks

The Gold recut is like hearing the album for the first time. Stunning. The only way I'll listen to it.

I don't know where people got that from, I see no evidence of a JCN repress. The Amazon listing doesn't line up with the other Pallas releases, since it's like $40. So far, speculation but no confirmation.

It's available here:
https://www.musicdirect.com/vinyl/ry...180g-vinyl-2lp

Don't see how it could be available without it being a recut, since the originals are OOP. But you're right, the price doesn't make sense.

Hmmm

Re: Vinyl represses by Chris Bellman and pressed at Pallas

The Discogs listing that says JCN Pallas Pressing lists the dead wax as:

Matrix / Runout (Side A, Etched): B0004707-01LP01 - Side # 1 (u) ~K
Matrix / Runout (Side B, Etched): B0004707-01LP01 - Side # 2 (u)
Matrix / Runout (Side C, Etched): B0004707-01LP02-A WG/NRP (u)
Matrix / Runout (Side D, Etched): B0004707-01LP02-B WG/NRP (u)

Those (u) are the mark of United. Pretty sure it's not accurate. Zero people either here or on Steve Hoffman have confirmed an actual pressing in hand.+

*EDIT it does say Feb 7, 2019 though. I sent Music Direct a message asking them to confirm. Fingers crossed!

I messaged the guy on discogs that created the listing about the (u). His response:

"I made this quickly for friends in a Ryan adams group. Things need to be edited. "

So who knows.

Re: Vinyl represses by Chris Bellman and pressed at Pallas

From Shuga Records regarding Jacksonville City Nights:

Hello,

So every copy we have has the Pallas silver sticker on the front cover saying it is a 180 gram Pallas audiophile vinyl, it says 'pressed in Germany' and then 'pallasusa.com' underneath.

Regards,

-David // Shuga

Here's the link to theirs:
https://www.shugarecords.com/product...hlyrecommended

It's a little pricey, but it's good to have definite confirmation!

So Gold, Cold Roses, JCN, 29 and Cardinology are the only ones that got the Pallas repress?
