Re: tv talk

insatiable has got to be the worst television series ive ever seen - definitely the worst thing ive seen on netflix

im maybe twenty minutes or so into the first episode - but i only watch five or so minutes at a time - just killing time in between other work around the house

im truly amazed that anyone involved with the show thought anything about it was worthwhile - its a complete mess with a very problematic plot and endless amounts of sophomoric humor

Glad I didn't waste my time on it then. Did you catch Everything Sucks!? I thought it was a great Netflix effort. I was very disappointed it was cancelled.

there were a few things that bothered me about everything sucks! but i certainly didnt think it deserved to be canceled - by comparison insatiable makes it look like the sopranos or something

im really looking forward to maniac on netflix

Everything sucks! took a while to get it's groove, but I was intrigued by the storylines a second season would bring. On the other hand, I don't even plan to check out insatiable.

i thought the story was good - characters were fun to hang out with - but im a real stickler for details - especially now in the golden age of television - whoever was hired for the specific task of keeping everything in line with the time period played it awfully fast/loose

one of the biggest befuddlements was that the teenagers are living in oregon in 1996 and NONE of them have even a passing interest in 'grunge' - seemed very strange that any teenager living in any proximity to seattle wouldnt at least be a pearl jam fan

dont even get me started on the blockbuster scene with the 'new releases'! haha

Re: tv talk

I thought sharp objects plodded along very slowly and very sadly.
it was tough to care for any of the characters. that said, it's good tv and good acting. just wasn't a fan of its pace or characters....top notch acting and MUSIC.

shows so far that i really dig have been The Sinner season 2 and Ozark Season 2

Happy I didn't squander my chance on it at that point. Did you find Everything Sucks!? I thought it was an extraordinary Netflix exertion. I was exceptionally frustrated it was dropped.

This is what my mom said, and I agree to an extent. It was slow, and kind of confusing until the last episode. But those last two minutes...I'm a little upset I can never watch them with virgin eyes ever again.

I signed so many online petitions to save this show that I'm embarrassed with myself.
